First off, let me be clear that Rank Math is not paying me to endorse them!  This is entirely my opinion based on my own experience.

My experience is that the Rank Math SEO plugin beats WordPress SEO by Yoast. That is really saying something!  I have used Yoast for a long, long time, and never once had a complaint.

That track record made up my mind for me.  Yoast is excellent, but there is always room for improvement, so I downloaded and activated the Rank Math SEO plugin.  Within minutes I was using it, and I was impressed!

The Rank Math plugin has all the excellent features of Yoast… and more!  This is the number one reason you should choose the plugin.  Or at least try it!  I’m pretty confident that if you give it an honest try, you will have a hard time going back to any other free SEO plugin.

2. Doesn’t pester you to upgrade

The next reason for choosing this plugin is that it doesn’t keep asking you to upgrade.  If there was one thing I really didn’t like about Yoast, it was the need to upgrade to get some of the things that are free on the Rank Math plugin.  In fact, here’s a challenge:  Check out Yoast’s premium vs free comparison; then look at everything Rank Math offers at no charge.  Free is good, but this kind of quality for free brings out the happy dance!

3. Number three is number one

That brings us to the third top reason for choosing the Rank Math SEO plugin – which is the number one reason:  You get a lot with this plugin!  When I say “a lot,” it really is a lot.

The very first think you’ll notice, especially if you’ve been a Yoast fan, is the dashboard.  Yes, Rank Math includes an actual dashboard!  You have to pay for that with Yoast.

From that dashboard, you have a really nice navigation panel to take you to every major section you would want when doing SEO on your WordPress website.  Included with the plugin is a setup wizard that makes integrating it AND importing everything from your previous SEO plugin a snap.  Okay, a click, but who’s getting picky?  It just works great.
